EWS 66120 Departs Wrawby Junction
Apparently the Class 66 locos were not popular with train crews. Seemingly there was very little insulation between the driving position and the power unit which caused unacceptable levels of sound. 66120 is photographed departing Wrawby after being held for 10 minutes with a rake Thrall 104 ton HTA Coal Hoppers. A total of 1162 of these hoppers were built, replacing the older and smaller Merry-Go-Round HAA hoppers.
