Southbound Arriva 37's Through Dent Station

2.50pm and having heard the horn of 37408 as it existed Rise Hill tunnel I just had sufficient time to position myself on the Northbound platform before the train entered the station. EWS 37408 "Loch Rannoch" is "Top" on this Arriva Trains run to Leeds and out of view is the "Tail" 37411. For those that don't know, Dent is the highest mainline station in England at 1150 feet above sea level. The white patch on the bridge was to provide a neutral background for the original semaphore. Note also the Midland Railway snow fences on the hill to the right of the station.
