Tender of Brooks - Scanlon Corporation 2-6-2 Tender at Steamtown, Scranton, PA

Train photography, for me at least, can cover numerous options and close up images of signage, particularly when its weathered and rusty is one of my favorite targets. This a close up shot of the tender of the Brooks Scanlon Corporation 2-6-2 at Steamtown. The loco was originally built by Baldwin for the Carpenter O'Brien Lumber Company in 1914. In 1917 it was sold to the Brooks-Scanlon Corporation. After a couple more owners, it eventually came to be owned by Steamtown.
