CN Westbound Intermodal Boston Bar, Fraser River, BC

On a warm summers afternoon an unidentified Canadian National Intermodal runs through the yard on route to Vancouver. Note the snowplow, which no doubt received regular use in this part of the world.

Canadian National construction teams are believed to have arrived in Boston Bar around 1914. A yard was established which in turn was designated as a crew changing point for trains that would eventually work between Kamloops and Vancouver. In the distance one can just see a the CP tracks across the river at North Bend.
