58021 "Hither Green Depot" at Barnetby East
58's were rare visitors to this neck of the woods, so I was delighted to get this shot of 58021 with the usual rake of coal wagons in tow. Thanks to the help of a very friendly Signalman I can tell you that the working is 6Y92, the empties from Eggborough Power Station back to Immingham and that at 12.52 pm it is running an hour ahead of its scheduled time.
58021 "Hither Green Depot" was one of 12 members of the class to carry Mainline's Blue and Silver colour scheme of Executive dark grey roof, Aircraft blue body and cab with Silver Mainline logo and a full body length silver stripe midway up the body. The "Rolling Wheels" logo sat directly above this stripe. All members of the class were allocated to Toton.
