Pair of Canadian Pacific Locos at Binghampton, New York
I had driven from New Jersey up to Binghamton to photograph NS workings and just south of the station I came across this pair of CP Rail liveried CP locos. I honestly don’t whether they were parked “permanently” or whether they were scheduled for duty in the foreseeable future. CP 5671 is an SD40-2; CP 7305 is a GP38-2 (SD standing for Special Duty and GP standing for General Purpose).
