Long Canadian Pacific Coal Train, Lytton, BC

Lytton

CP #9652 will shortly cross over the Thompson River into Lytton with yet another consignment of coal destined for Port Metro, Vancouver. I have to admit that I didn't count the number of cars, but 129 was the usual number for CP unit coal trains on this route, which makes for a train length of over a mile and a quarter. Mid-train supplementary power was normal for these coal trains and if you look carefully you can see sister #9632.
