Having photographed most variants of freight trains over the years I have to say that perhaps Mixed Consists are my favorite and for 2 reasons. Firstly you never quite know what you are going to get in terms of the cars themselves and secondly the Motive Power is often comprised of older generation locomotives which are often from different Railroad Companies or in an array of liveries. as witnessed here. -
