Sunset over Wrawby Village
Photographed from the steps of Wrawby Junction Signal Box.
Wrawby derives its name from the time of Danelaw when it was known as Wragheby when the area was described as having a church farmland, meadowland and woodland. The windmill, restored to working order in the 60's, replaced an originally mill which was built in 1885 and is believed to be the last standing windmill in Lincolnshire.
