Tehachapi, California
The trouble with Tehachapi is that you never want to put the camera down, even when the light has disappeared. The last shot of the day before heading across town for a few beers and dinner at the local Chinese restaurant was an attempt to juggle three techniques in one, namely, capturing a moving train in extremely low light, getting the signal gantry in silhouette and getting a starburst effect. Not too shabby, but I have certainly seen much better results from more accomplish photographers.
For those interested the lead loco is UP 5539.
