Comparing SD70MAC and Dash 8-40CW at Sand Patch, Pennsylvania.

Some days things don't quite work out as one hoped. I had driven for 6 hours with the expectation of photographing CSX motive power operating over the Sand Patch Grade, which runs for approximately 100 miles through the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Unfortunately the day I choose was the day that CSX decided to close the whole section to undertake maintenance work. The best shot of the day was this one of parked locomotives, which at least provides an opportunity to compare the differences between #4759 a SD70MAC and #7388 a Dash 8-40CW.
