EWS 66072 Crosses Moorcock Viaduct on the S & C

This image taken in afternoon light sees EWS 66072 crossing Moorcock Viaduct with 6E32.

 

The branch line to Hawes cut off to the just to the right of the buffers. The line closed in in 1959 and according to Midland Railway records was precisely 6 miles and 132 yards in length.
