EWS 66080 North of Horton in Ribblesdale with Penn-y-Ghent in the Background
Photographed from the point where Blindbeck crosses the B6479, here we see 66080 running north a mile or so out of Horton in Ribblesdale. In the distance is Penyghent, the name of which is believed to have derived from the Celtic for "Hill on the Border". Pennyghent is the lowest of the three Peaks at 2,277 feet with its profile often likened to that of a crouching lion.
