BNSF Unit on the Trestle, Keddie Wye, Feather River Canyon, California

Standing above the waters of Spanish Creek in Plumas County this famous structure is the location of Western Pacific's last spike ceremony on 1st November 1909.

 

In late afternoon sunlight 6 BNSF units take the left fork up the Gateway subdivision towards Bieber with a merchandise train.
