Impressive Santa Fe Pass, Bealville, Tehachapi, California.

Warbonnet #848 brings a Piggyback Train into Bealville. Once clear the 8 unit Eastbound will pull out of the siding and make the climb up the hill to Cliff and all points East. During the 1850's the Southern Pacific Railroad had a train order office at Bealville which closed in 1943 following the introduction of Centralised Traffic Control (CTC). The area was named after Edward Fitzgerald Beale was who Superintendent of Indian Affairs at the time. In 1865 he bought the El Tejon (The Badger) ranch which was adjacent to the train order office.
