Expect more shots of this old looker...People use the field as a kind of park, to run their dogs and such. Funny how I am in this city of many beautiful parks and I am drawn to this place. Abandoned schools have some sort of energy too them that I can't put my finger on. Also, for me, the only kind of recurring dream I have involves school.
This school also seems to represent the state of this city; that of one in transition. I expect this will be a condo soon, so I aim to spend more time here, writing and reading and looking for a job online.
The batteries on my 'real camera' were dead when I went there today (a few days after the day of this shot) and I got some better phone shots, will post soon, and I plan on returning and taking some shots with my Fuji.
How's all that for overthinking the importance of an abandoned school?
