Futatsu by FIRE andICING Cakes, Cookies, Confections

Japanese-themed cake comprised of the elements of water, earth and air. The Katsushika Hokusai waves (Edo period, 1615 - 1868) represent strength and power. The great Daishizen (Mother Nature) hovers amidst the branches of her trees, cloaked in cherry blossoms, the same ones provided by her that demonstrate the stability and beauty of her earth. The sky above connotes limitless journey, adventure and happiness. Origami sugar cranes appear to be prepared to take flight.

"Futatsu" is the Japanese word for "two". It's the composition of these elements that bring two people together (and perhaps being in the right place at the right time). That certainly seems to be the case for one such couple.

For Phil and Eric. May you embark on a wonderful, limitless journey together.

Heiwa, ai to anata no ryōhō ni shiawase.
