Scotland in March (Still The Bleak Midwinter) :-(

Just popping in to let everyone know I'm ok, and I hope everyone is well!

Stephen and I visited WWT Caerlaverock near Dumfries today, where we met up with Allan (DorsetBirder), one of my first Flickr contacts and a lovely man, and it was a privilege to meet him and share some of his amazing knowledge.

Unfortunately the weather was typically unforgiving for the time of the year, bitterly cold with a chilling wind, and then the rain came...

Barnacle Geese were plentiful in flocks overhead, but hardly visible on the ground, and I was disappointed not to capture any, but such is the unpredictability of being a bird and wildlife photographer!

So, here is a birdless composition, and have a fabulous weekend everyone! :-))
