This is the uppermost end of a recirculating creek and pond that I built in concert with Stephen Capper from Wild Rose Garden. Late this afternoon, I did what I've done quite a few times previously. That is, hunker down with my camera in hand, vainly waiting to videotape our resident hummingbird as it takes a late-afternoon shower in the water spilling out of the wheelbarrow. It came by a couple of times and hovered about 3 feet above my head before flying away. Had to settle for this video.
