Day Eight: We came back to the ER at 9 pm to be met by members of our team, including Lewis' surgeon, Dr. Campbell. The yellow stripe on the diaper is what brought us in. It turns green when wet, and Lewis had not wet a diaper since the previous day. He had been throwing up during the day which left him severely dehydrated. We didn't know how bad it was at the time - his kidneys were failing.
