Runes
The Elder Futhark (named after its first six characters and pronounced 'Foothark') of the Runic Alphabet (Jernalderens Runealfabet) developed in North Western Europe in the Iron Age. Other runic alphabets grew out of the 'Elder' futhark as people migrated across the continent and across the North Sea to England. The Anglo/Frisian futhark has twenty eight characters, the extra four runes being invented to represent new elements of language.
Postcard from Nationalmusset, Denmark.
MaK's Inforium offers information I have come across as I carry out a Life Laundry. For those of you who practice The Craft, what you see here is the result of an attempt to work emotive transmutational magic.
