SMASH_UK Climate Crisis - WILDFIRE! 2022-23
Our new programme and series of events - WILDFIRE! - culminating in a situated fully immersive experience that’s a bit escape room, a bit simulation environment, a bit immersive theatre production debuting in March 2023. Everything is being co-designed & co-produced with young people’s community groups, participating professional engineers, climate science and fire and rescue experts.
We are into Phase 2 of the project, working with our brilliant participant young people at Phoenix Housing Association #BEin, Lewisham Youth Theatre working with young creative professionals Beth Wilson, Jerusa Da Silva and Navpreet Singh and experts in climate science and fire and rescue.
The outcomes, insights and ideas developed through the testing and co-design of Phase 1 has formed the foundation of our Phase 2 work and the performance events being developed with Lewisham Youth Theatre and Phoenix Housing Association #BEin programme.
