Laurette at Lunch
Closeups are very problematical for me. I try to take several whenever I am out, if for no other reason just to get in the practice. Most you will never see--I either discard them right away, or they remain hidden in the archives. Often the lighting is poor, or I have an odd expression, or my makeup looks terrible, or any of a dozen other reasons that I will keep them from you.
But, once in a while, everything seems to work, and this was such an occasion. Amazingly, I like the way I look (and you girls know how we are our own worst critics).
In this case, I rather like my distracted look :)
Please forgive my vanity, but a 66-year old woman must do what she is still able to do.
