Mystery Warning Light

As of today our car has a blinking dashboard light.

 

The Subaru Forester manual says it is the "Alarm System / Immobilizer System."

 

We don't have an alarm.

Our key activates the engine -- it is not immobilized.

Whew! jamica1 tells us,

the blinking warning light is nothing serious,

it's a bad-guy-scaring, anti-theft light, that I turned on by accident.
