Anson worked in Weston at the Moffat Stove Works.
Anson was born in Lyn, Ontario where his father
was a blacksmith who became a small manufacturer
of agricultural equipment, specializing in land rollers.
Likely while in Lyn Anson worked for his father.
In 1907 Anson moved to Weston where he worked
for the Moffat Stove Company on Dennison Road.
In Weston he married Nettie Brookman of Fultonville,
New York. They had a daughter Florence who died
as a teenager.
In 1920 Anson moved to Fultonville, NY. He owned and
operated a car repair garage with Nettie's sister's husband
in the next village, Fonda, NY. After his wife and daughter died Anson sold his interest in the garage and moved back
to Ontario. He died in Brockville in 1960 and is buried
in Lyn, Ontario where he was born.
