Green Avenue, West Chester, 1889

The Map Room of the 42nd Street Public Library

has excellent maps from 1889 and 1891 of what is

now the Bronx

 

My G-Grandnparents Michael and Maria McNulty

built a house, still standing, at the X,

 

Note Seabrey Creek which was filled in, but still

periodically flooded our basement at 1503 Zerega

Avenue when I lived in the house.
