Trails End

Beaver Meadow Falls in New York's Adirondacks.

 

If you take the the East Side trail from Ausable Lake you cross a small wooden bridge to get to Beaver Falls. But there has been some erosion and downed trees that have obliterated the trail to the falls. So you need to bushwhack about 100 yards to the falls. Not that bad since you can hear them and catch glimpses through the trees. You burst out of the forest and are greeted with this view. Not a bad reward for your efforts.
