A Turkish Railways DE11000 class locomotive, with empty stock from Ankara Gar

This loop line was used to turn around empty stock workings from the main railway station in Ankara. With the construction of the new station, the addition of extra running lines east of the station and the move towards 'fast train' units, the line has been rendered superfluous to use.
