July 2015 Road Trip. Mesa Verde Ruins
Made a pit stop at Mesa Verde. We only had part of one day to spend so we got there when it opened and left around 130 or so. Photo taken with a Canon 7D. The 7D is a new camera for me and this road trip was its inaugural trip. The lens I used here was a Canon 10-22 EFS. I had read a few good reviews on it and saw some great pics here on Flickr. I also wanted to get and bring along the 17-55 2.8 EFS. The one I purchased from a local camera store had a tiny flaw on the front element but it was right in the middle. It went back to the store! I picked up another from KEH and it was like a sandbox on the inside. Exchanged it for another and it seems like a keeper at this point.
