Ang Birhen ng Orani and the Pilgrimage Shrine in Bataan

The miraculous Birhen ng Orani at Orani, Bataan and the Pilgrimage Shrine. The Birhen ng Orani is said to be found beneath the kamatsile tree during the early settlement of Dominican Missionaries in Bataan in 1588. It is said that the image was shrined in the altar of Samal, Bataan but always disappear every morning and found in the place of what is Orani now. Later, church authorities decided to permanently shrine it in Orani, Bataan. The Birhen ng Orani is very much loved by thousand of devotees due to the many healings and blessings received through her intercession. Her town fiesta is celebrated every 2nd Sunday of October. The church of Orani is a nationg pilgrimage shrine where you can obtain pleanary indulgences for the living and for the dead by doing some obligations like visiting the shrine during October 7, every feast day of the Virgin and during 1st Saturday of each month, doing some confession, prayer for the intention of the Holy Father, etc.
