Flow

Water spills out of our rain barrel's overflow tube at lower right. Its current rounds our teal tub -- one of our storage containers for excess water -- and flows toward the upper left. I deliberately underexposed this shot to get a quicker shutter speed, with as low an f-stop as my camera would allow. Then I tweaked it in MS Photo Editor to bring its brightness and contrast back up.

Earlier Mary had removed the window screen to aid my picture-taking through the glass. By the time I took this shot the rain had eased up somewhat from the deluge in "Our Cup Runneth Over."

In drier times the teal tub has served as home to one of our local black widow spiders.
