Kakimori Doodle
Meditation doodle with Kakimori steel nib dip pen; the video shows shimmer and sheen effects. I use tamer inks when writing, but anything goes in the doodle. Used here are "special effect" inks Diamine Golden Oasis (which begins the doodle in the center of Tomoe River A5 paper), DeAtramentis Columbia Blue-Copper, Jacques Herbin Emerald of Chivor, and Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi, along with solid colors Sailor Studios 230 and 341; Levenger inks Gemstone Green, True Teal, Cardinal Red, and Blazing Sunset; Diamine inks Ancient Copper, Sunshine Yellow, and Syrah; and a mix of Cardinal Red and Diamine Hope Pink. Time to completion: 3 days.
