Studio, 2003
When I moved to Florida in 2003 I set up the extra bedroom as my studio. These shots show my work desk and two of three art tables.
Over the years the space has gotten increasingly disorganized. I haven't done mixed-media art for a while (Florida's high humidity makes paper pulp sculpting a challenge), so I've taken down the art tables, which had become horizontal clutter spaces. After three days of cleaning in January 2008, the room now looks like this.
I'll be sitting at the desk shown here to do a phone interview early on the morning of February 2, 2008. At about 12:30 a.m. Eastern Time, I will be a guest on the "Jordan Rich Show Book Club, Winter 2008 edition." I was last on Jordan's show in October 2002, when I lived in Boston and visited the WBZ studio there.
