Rainy Day Sundial

The inscription at the bottom of my antique sun dial says, "I count none but sunny hours." Since I was a little kid, I have thought that it might not be a bad way to live -- to find the sunniness that seems to be there even in the rainiest of times -- to hang in with people in the rainy times and celebrate the sunny times.
