One of the stops on the Seminary New England Adventist Heritage Tour is the Washington New Hampshire Seventh-day Adventist church. This church was the first sabbath-keeping (as opposed to Sunday-keeping) Adventist church. It is thus regarded as the birthplace of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. One of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Joseph Bates, came here in 1845 or 1846 to learn more about the seventh day Sabbath.

Per this photographer:
The Byodo-In Temple situated at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park was established on June 7, 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawai‘i. The Byodo-In is a replica of the 950 year-old Buddhist temple in Japan, which was converted from a villa in the year 1053.
