CTPOSTER says: One of the stops on the Seminary New England Adventist Heritage Tour is the Washington New Hampshire Seventh-day Adventist church. This church was the first sabbath-keeping (as opposed to Sunday-keeping) Adventist church. It is thus regarded as the birthplace of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. One of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Joseph Bates, came here in 1845 or 1846 to learn more about the seventh day Sabbath.
