this drama began on a recent visit to Yellowstone so eloquently covered by several others especially Max Waugh. I came upon this fox den with the 2 remaining Kits. I was told the Foxes originally had 4 Kits.
Well there was an ongoing siege between the fox parents and a Badger. The parents were rotating vigil over their original den which the day before was invaded by a badger and a conflict ensued between the courageous female fox and badger. Max Waugh has an excellent video on utube/hulu of this initial battle the day before this scene,
Hence my presence on the scene. To be continued!
