Established in 1935, Doon School is one of India's oldest public schools. It was the brain child of Satish Ranjan Das. The school is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The school caters to the needs of students up to the 12th standard. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The school has well established computer laboratory, library, reading room, and hostel facilities. Besides the regular curriculum, the students are also involved in co-curricular activities. Admissions are made on the basis of an entrance examination and interview.
