The 1914-15 Star is a military war medal from the First World War. It was never awarded singly and always awarded with two other medals. The three medals were (irreverently) nicknamed Pip, Squeak and Wilfred after a strip cartoon, popular in the day, and published in the Daily Mirror and Sunday Pictorial.
