One of two 16th century alabaster grave slabs.
This one shows the figure of a man in a long, fur-edged robe. It has a Latin inscriptions around the edge.
It commemorates Roger Greenhalgh. He lived at Teversal Manor and was a great benefactor to the church, as demonstrated by his gift of a bell in 1554. It was through the marriage of Roger Greenhalgh’s granddaughter Elizabeth that Teversal passed to the Molyneux family.
