In loving memory of Mervynia Jane Dunnington Jefferson, eldest daughter of the late Reverend Canon Dunnington Jefferson of Thicket Priory York, and of Anna, his wife, the eldest daughter of General Sir Henry Maghull Mervin Vavasour, Baronet, of Melbourne Hall, Yorkshire. Born at Thicket Priory, October 31st 1838. Died at Langridge Rectory, May 31st 1905. This tablet is erected by her cousin William Burland MA Rector of Langridge.
