This window was rescued from Holy Trinity, Hampstead, demolished in 1974.
Dudley Forsyth worked as a painter for James Powell & Sons and then for Henry Holiday before establishing his own practice in London by about 1900.
In loving memory of Sarah Hargrave Sharpe the beloved wife of the first Vicar of this Parish. Called home February 4th 1914 and laid to rest in Hampstead Parish Churchyard. This window has been given by her family and friends connected with this church.
This window was restored and placed in the Abbey by Bishop Morris Maddocks & his family with aid from Selby Abbey Trust on the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul 25 January 1978.
