Here lyeth the body of John Walpoole of Whaplode esqr who departed this life Ano 1591 having no issue of his body & his wife was after married to John Markam of Sidebroke esqr & after his decease to Sir William Skipwith of Cootes, knight, at whose cost & charges this monument was erected Ano 1631.
