Damaged by enemy action in World War ii.

Grade ll* listed.

Memorial Window (detail) to Arthur James Davey (d1901), for 21 years headmaster of St John's Boys' School.

The Boy Jesus at the Temple.

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.

The original window was destroyed by enemy action in 1940. This is its replacement of 1994. It is the only stained glass window in the church.

I could not find a signature, nor do I have the relevant Pevsner - who is the designer/maker?
