WIP Firefli Refit

It's that time again, time to once again refit my longest surviving MOC, the MX-01 Firefli (it's been around in some form or another since 2006; some of the core bits from back then are still in there).

 

So, I am once again faced by the Eternal Question: Am I really willing to sink two more Travis bricks into this?
