Transpeak Excel
Trent Barton operated the very long Manchester to Nottingham Transpeak rather curiously with a batch of these long Optare Excels, hardly the work such vehicles were designed for. Following Centrebus taking on Trent Barton's Dove Holes depot and amalgamating the operation with that of Bowers to form High Peak most have been replaced with heavier-duty and more modern Scanias. Obviously one or two linger on though, and here is what's now High Peak's 685 (W224 PRB) in Buxton bound for Nottingham.
