The plight of Arriva has generated some considerable debate and speculation over recent years, with a general loss of interest having become very obvious in some areas amid a suggested pending sale by its owner, Deutsche Bahn.
Evidence of such lowering standards is provided here in Milton Keynes by Alexander Dennis Enviro200 3124 (YX17 NPG). It's little over four years old, but seems to lack a single straight lower panel. While it's easy to understand how such damage is collected on the nearside, the mind boggles as to how it is possible on the offside. Evidently, repairing any of it is no priority. The bus also carries the group's watered-down Sapphire brand; notable when it was introduced at Wrexham depot some years ago, but no longer.
