An embroidered bonnet of an unknown date, believed to have been manufactured in Berne, Switzerland.
The main body of the bonnet is constructed of blue woven threads, laid over a a fabric and paper or card lining. A floral design featuring glass and metal beads has been embroidered over the blue woven threads. A large border of pink poppies on a black backing lines the edge of the cap. The interior of the cap is lined with a brown and white striped fabric.
