What makes this nice is the wire colors are standardized. You almost don't even have to know what you're doing. I cut the wires short on the oem connector to reduce the size of the harness. Less is more in this case. I only cut short snips from the aftermarket connector harness to make it easier to transplant the deck into a different vehicle later on.
