Rollei Redbird Redscale 400 35mm

 

Having a break from uploading flower shots of my recent trip to the southern parts of Western Australia.

 

I shot this roll quite some time ago, before setting the ‘redscale’ theme for the “Filmphotography (1/day)” group monthly contest. I am usually trying to shoot a roll, or a few images of the contest themes myself.

 

The film has been sitting in the camera and then in the fridge for quite some time, and I tossed it in with the WA rolls for processing.

 

So, here are my efforts: 4/36

The colours of the rest were either too dull, subjects too badly out of focus, or I just did not like them.

 

I haven’t quite figured out what may be the best light for this film. I think, I prefer Lomochrome Purple, and may try to get hold of Lomochrome Turquoise for a contest theme sometime in 2025.

The lab scans are very good indeed and, most of the time, I leave and upload them as is.

 

Printing:

Glossy with white borders, and Rewind Photo Lab makes even my humble efforts look good!
