Small lunch today - Mushroom Pot Pie with Sweet Potato crust

This dish was tasty but it ended up as rather small serves. I didn't have enough mushrooms and had to use butter beans, which I don't really like but were in the pantry, preferring smaller white beans or chickpeas.
I garnished the dish with chopped onions, a sprinkle of salt and pepper as well as some olive oil spray, before baking. We love baked onions! This worked rather well and, should I make this dish again one day, I will garnish it with onions again. Maybe even onion wedges instead of chopped onion.
Instead of sweet potatoes, thin slices of potatoes, topped with slices of onion, could be used.
